5 Places in Indiana to get Engagement Photos!

Have you ever wondered, “Where in the corn can I get some photos taken around Southern Indiana?” Well wonder no more friends! We’re compiling a list of places, with examples, you can have your engagement, family, or wedding photos taken at!

  1. Downtown Evansville

Right at the edge of the Ohio River you can find the developing downtown area of Evansville. This scenic riverside drive offers views of the river, as well as some historic buildings and homes which make great backdrops for your photos!

2. The Azalea Path

Driving just a few minutes north of Evansville and you’ll run into the beautiful Azalea Path. From a cute fairy garden to amazing foliage, literally everywhere, you’ll have a hard to finding spots NOT to stop and take photos!

3. Brown County State Park

If we keep heading further north you may find yourself in Brown County and you’d be remiss if you passed up their lovely State Park. This area has some breath taking views in all seasons, but is especially well known for it’s fall colors! You may also want to check out the little town of Nashville, Indiana while you’re there to get the true Brown County experience!

4. Audubon State Park

I know we said Southern Indiana, but this isn’t too far away. Just a crossed the bridge into Henderson Kentucky you’ll find the Audubon State Park. This park offers gorgeous scenery in either the fall or summer, and can even be the site for your wedding! We also have to mention the fantastic looking museum that, from the right angle, looks much like a castle!

5. Garden of the Gods, Illinois

Finally in this list is the stunning Garden of the Gods in southern Illinois. Less than a 2 hour drive from Evansville, Indiana, this State Park offers up some of the best looking vista in the area. It has cliff sides you can literally walk right up to! This is an amazing place for photos in Spring, Summer, or Fall!
